This new pedestrian bridge for Medbury School has been designed to tie-in with the design aesthetic of the School’s new teaching blocks, also designed by Sheppard & Rout. The bridge provides a link between the school campus and car park and has been carefully positioned to sit amongst the trees of Waimari Stream, touching the ground lightly where it connects to the banks of the stream.  The bridge has been designed as a sculptural form and which has been commissioned to celebrate Medbury School’s 100 year centenary.
